MongoDB cluster temporarily goes down during disk resize operation

Description

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a 1-node, 3-node, or 5-node MongoDB cluster.

  2. Wait for it to reach the ready state.

  3. Open "Edit Resources" and increase the disk size.

  4. Observe the cluster state in the UI during the operation

Actual Outcome:

  • Cluster transitions: Up → Down → Resizing → Initializing → Down → Up

Expected Outcome:

  • Cluster should go to ‘Resizing volumes’ state directly, without a ‘Down’ state, if no crash or failure occurred.

  • Once complete, Cluster should go to ‘Up’ state directly, without a ‘Down’ state, if no crash or failure occurred.
