Upgrade of PXC 5.7 with operator 1.8.0 to 1.9.0 reports replication errors

Description

I have upgraded PXC 5.7 with operator 1.8.0 to 1.9.0 and the operator logs are getting filled with replication error:

cluster status seems fine and I didn't see the issue by just running 1.9.0 with PXC 5.7 from the start:
