User story:
MongoDB Inc released a new version of their opensource database, so I, as a PMM user, want to add this new version to my pmm so that I can monitor and manage this instance as other versions of mongoDB
As Percona, we want users to be able to use PMM with the latest version of mongoDB (6) so that they can be on the "latest and greatest."
UI/UX:
no changes in current behavior (API, UI, CLI)
Acceptance criteria:
Users are able to do with 6 versions of mongoDB the same set of actions (like monitoring, backup, advisors .. ) as they can do with other mongo versions
Out of scope:
Expose new features of MongoDB 6 (will be a separate task if needed )
Suggested implementation:
TBD
How to test:
TBD
Details:
MongoDB 6.0 was recently released: https://www.mongodb.com/blog/post/mongodb-6-0-now-available
We need to ensure that users can monitor their MongoDB 6.0 databases with PMM, utilize QAN and rely on advisors, alerting and Backup (if it will be supported by out backup tools )
Out of scope:
