Put in place To update the PMM server to a specific version, use the drop-down list of versions.

Description

Provide a feasibility to the user that user can upgrade to specific PMM server version instead of latest version. As a user I have to upgrade to stable PMM version, so that we can avoid any issues or crashes and we can maintain the PMM without any interrupts.

Why we need a drop down list.

 

Today when I am trying to upgrade PMM version from 2.39 to 2.40 version, initially it was showing 2.40.1 but after completion of the upgrade its showing 2.41.0 version.

 

 

But after upgrading its showing 2.41.0 version.

Hi

We release stable version of PMM only so user go from current stable version to next updated stable version and also PMM v2.40.0 was faced some issue due to that we released v2.40.1 which was stable version. So not sure if it is really a valid feature request. If you disagree please share more use case which can help to decide further on the request.

Yes Roma, we might need to upgrade to NOT the latest version? for example 2.41 is latest version so instead of 2.41 version we will upgrade to stable 2.40 version. My intention is to upgrade PMM server to stable version instead of very latest version.
