[General] MongoDB Dashboards clean up before GA

Description

Problem: We want new mongoDB dashboards to be clean and consistent.

 

This includes:

  • All panels are following https://www.notion.so/percona/Dashboards-Grafana-dashboard-development-rules-b2c36a37e0594eea8b4156413ed4e2d1

    • Remove disclaimer rows

    • Especially:

      • Units specified.

      • Avoid red/green colors where this is not Bad/good information

      • Panels with time series have a legend at the bottom and a consistent presentation if there is no direct need for others.

      • If a Service (MongoDB Node/Instance) is mentioned in the panel - it must be linked to a proper Summary dashboard.

      • All Service-related dashboards must have standard collapsed rows for Node metrics and parameters.

 

Dashboards:

  • MongoDB_ReplSet_Summary_(New)

  • MongoDB_Cluster_Summary_(new)

  • MongoDB_Collections_Overview

  • MongoDB_Oplog_Details

How to test

Test per dashboard
Check the mentioned dashboads for the points mentioned in the description

And check the following

Default time zone is - browser

default time range is - now-12h to now

Dashboard is not editable

min, max and avg legend for all Graph based panels and default sorted by avg
