Show the version info when MongoS is down

Description

The Sharded Cluster Summary dashboard shows MongoDB and MongoS Versions. It works fine when all nodes are available, but when a node is down:

  1. MongoS disappears from the MongoDB Versions list. It should still be visible there (last version information available)

This is a spin off of https://perconadev.atlassian.net/browse/PMM-13360.

Adding a comment in the hope it helps.
From my point of view Inventory is OK as well.

Some context:

  • When there was the request to see MongoS version, it was decided to add this information in the table which was already present in a dashboard (and that was just missing MongoS).

  • It was also discussed that Inventory can be good place where to show such version info

Definitely open to both approaches.

The high level requirement from my side is the following:

  • Ability to see the version of all MongoDB components (Config, shard nodes, MongoS), and ideally regardless of their up/down status.

Thanks!

I’m not sure this is a part of the Monitoring dashboard scope . Inventory is a better place for this.
