PMM is monitoring Amazon RDS Aurora instances via performance_schema. For some reason PMM query count to database server just keeps growing over time. Attached screenshots of query analyzer and SELECT query graph for 2 month period from Amazon cloudwatch. The drop from 180qps to about 30qps happened when I restarted PMM server. In fact all 3 significant drops in query count are result of PMM server restarts. As you can see, every time query count still keeps growing. the very last small drop is me upgrading from 1.8.0 to 1.9.0 and still query count keeps increasing after the upgrade.
Normal query count without PMM monitoring would be about 20-40qps
