The pmm-admin summary command have gained a new --skip-server flag which makes it to operate in local-only mode, creating summary file without contacting the PMM Server

pmm-admin summary --skip-server creates summary file without contacting PMM Server.

Implementation

  • Add --skip-server flag (defaults to false) that skips addServerData function call.

Discussion

  • Once this improvement is implemented, we can use it in logs.zip functionality. See PMM-5182.
