, I agree. There is only a need to inform developers about the case so they are aware of the reason for not getting the code working correctly or the need to fix it. From our metrics, what is the metric/panel people should use to create such an Alert?

It would be helpful if you could implement this functionality. If we don't have an alert, we won't be able to fix the problem because this is only alerting DBAs. If it is informed, our development team will be asked to resolve the dead lock problem.
