Anyway…, it doesn’t make sense to release this in 5.0 in September, when it’s becoming EOL in October.

Thanks for the input. I’m still convinced we should not do it for 5.0 and have more carrots for customers then to upgrade to newer version 6.0, 7.0, or 8.0. I’m sure we can help customers to upgrade

can you please state which customers are on 5.0 and would use it? Looking at the telemetry data there’re not that many customers on 5.0.

I’m also on Igor’s side that we don’t need to ship it to 5.0. Additionally, we’d rather want customers to upgrade to 6.0 or 7.0 sooner than later (after EOL).
