I would like to know if high I/O latency was due to the battery going through learning cycle, for example.
I am fine with this being collected on demand, as it is done with strace and others.

If this is generally useful info, then we can include it, but if it's rather specific, then maybe it's best not to put in the general tool but rather expose some mechanism to allow people to collect whatever specific, extra data they want.
