Hello Matthew,
Thanks for reporting this bug.
It is validated as a Bug.
Have tested the same way with --ignore-case and pt-config-diff does not honour this option.
pt-config-diff /root/sandboxes/single_mysql_57/my.sandbox.cnf h=127.0.0.1,P=5725 --user=msandbox --password=XXXXXXX --ignore-case
1 config difference
Variable /root/sandboxes/single_mysql_57/my.sandbox.cnf local

enforce_gtid_consistency on ON

The default for pt-config-diff is to ignore case. This does not work. Evidence below.
