LP #1086365: pt-summary LVM section doesn't include physical volume info

Description

**Reported in Launchpad by Ovais Tariq last update 09-06-2015 08:02:04

I think this can be considered a feature request. By looking at the pt-summary output you cannot really tell which physical volumes are part of which volume groups. Currently, the LVM section has the following info:

  1. LVM Volumes ################################################
LV VG Attr LSize Origin Snap% Move Log Copy% Convert
    raid0 vg0 -wi-ao 1.78t
    swap vg0 -wi-ao 20.00g

  2. LVM Volume Groups ##########################################
    VG VSize VFree
    vg0 2.00t 201.00g

Adding the output of `pvs` or `pvscan` would make the LVM section complete.

I think we can use the info provided by 'lsblk' output - it is very informative.

Daniel,

Indeed, whether its a bug or a feature-request, I think this information is important "which physical volumes are part of which volume groups"

We can call it a bug too since "you cannot really tell which physical volumes are part of which volume groups" is a problem.
