This feature does not impact flexibility in 5.6, because it does NOT limit the min buffer size. Note that the description of the feature is different for 5.1/5.5 and 5.6 (the latter does not say anything about the buffer pool limitation).
Agree on moving the page itself to the performance section.

Manual for 5.1 is also affected: http://www.percona.com/doc/percona-server/5.1/flexibility/buff_read_ahead_area.html

Thank you for the documentation request.

I would say that this change summary in Percona Server documentation:
http://www.percona.com/doc/percona-server/5.6/flexibility/buff_read_ahead_area.html
(also on 5.5)
actually does limit flexibility, not enhance it (it limits the min buffer size to at least 32MB). It doesn't improve IOPS, but it can save CPU. It should go to scalability, or, alternatively, to the performance section. We can make a 301 on documentation for support of incoming links or leave everything the same, just change the link on the top (summary of changes) page.
I am trying to make a sensible training material, hence the bug report.
