Note: Products should also remain in the original repository location and should continue to be deployed there for backward compatibility with existing customer repo configurations.

Problems this will solve:

• With new repositories,  we will be able to enable multi-versioning.  Users will be able to install older versions of the products

• Users who use the new separate repositories for these products will no longer face packaging conflicts caused by having these products located together

This will require:

• creation of the repositories

• deploying older versions of the products contained in the original repository

• changing deployment procedures to deploy packages to both locations

• updating the percona-release script

• Product documentation updates to reference new repository locations

The new repositories will also support multi-versioning to allow for installation of previous package versions on the deb platforms.
