[MySQL] Enable PITR

Description

As an Everest user

I want to be able to enable Point in time recovery for my MySQL database cluster

So that the data after the last full backup would be stored in the external storage.

PITR is now working for mysql. There are some PITR issues for which separate Jira issues have been filed, hence closing this task.

According by PXC docs

  1. recommended to use a separate bucket/directory for PITR.

  2. PITR is only working when both backups and pitr are stored in an s3 compatible storage

Since pxc allows prefixes for the buckets only by using "{bucket}/prefix" instead of "{bucket}", the 1. limitation could be resolved by defining a separate storage for pitr on the pxc cluster level, so the the pxc cluster would contain an additional storage to be used only by the pitr functionality.
