percona-server-test package is dependent on old python version in Jammy and Oracle linux 9

Installed percona-server-test package on Jammy and it failed to install due to dependency on python

sudo apt install percona-server-server percona-server-test percona-server-dbg percona-server-source percona-server-client percona-server-rocksdb percona-mysql-router Reading package lists... The python package is unavailable on Jammy. Linking python to python2/python3 doesn't resolve the issue.

Installing percona-server-test package on Oracle Linux 9 fails due to dependency on python2

sudo yum install percona-server-test Last metadata expiration check: 0:07:41 ago on Mon 07 Nov 2022 01:33:33 PM UTC. Error:   Problem: conflicting requests   - nothing provides /usr/bin/python2 needed by percona-server-test-8.0.30-22.1.el9.x86_64

The python2 package is unavailable on Oracle Linux 9.
