When tried to rotate the audit logs repeatedly, it is noticed that the query execution time increases every time the logs are rotated. This maybe due to the reason that the audit plugin rechecks already existing logs to make sure newly generated name doesn't conflict.
The audit log was rotated a few times and the execution time quickly grew 3 times from initially 6s to 18s.
