In case that SST fails (like in PXC-3152) it can cause donor to hang.
After the joining has failed service isn't running on the joiner (pxc2) node, and/but the donor is left in the

I'm able to reproduce this with:
on Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04.
I'm able to connect with the client (on pxc1) but running commands leaves the client not responding. Opening up another session I'm able to see the databases:
