Percona XtraDB Cluster users should be aware of what each number in the product version specification (<X>.<Y>.<Z>-<N>.<M>) means.
For instance, in 8.0.29-21.1:
8.0.29-21 - the version of the Percona Server for MySQL, the Percona XtraDB Cluster is based on
1 - the sequential number of the product version release, increased every time Percona releases a new version based on the same version on PS (because of for example critical bugs fixes, CVEs fixes ). Please note that this number goes back to 1 for PXC release based on the new PS version.
Please notice, that Percona XtraDB Cluster may have several releases based on the same Percona Server for MySQL version.
They would be versioned like 8.0.29-21.1 and 8.0.29-21.2 and so on.
